Stepping Down

Steps leading down to the beach on the south shore of Molokai-sure beats having to negotiate the embankment! The water is shallow for quite a ways out before encountering the fringe reef. Molokai's reef is unique among the other islands because it has a 30 mile "fringing reef." This means that the reef crest is a half mile to a mile offshore and the unspoiled reef is just beyond that point. Just some trivial information for your memory banks to store!

Join us as a group of us (yes-there are many of us!) from around the world post our shadow shots over at Shadow Shot Sunday 2. Entertain your muse and be amused by stopping by to see what others have posted!

I love those precise, geometric shadows, although the steps look rather steep. Have a Merry Christmas, Paula, and I hope to see you again early in 2018!
